MUSIC FROM DENMARK 2002

Boxed sets traditionally contain the very best of this, that or the other, and this Music From Denmark boxed set is no exception although it stands out from the pack.

Listen to the CDs and you will discover the very best of current Danish music from the worlds of folk, jazz, hip-hop, rock, pop and neighbouring musical territories .

The booklet gives you a short introduction to the Danish music scene(s) and provides you with generous information on Danish music websites that can take you even further.

Music From Denmark is produced by mxp - danish music export & promotion, a music promotion effort intended to benefit Danish musicians and composers internationally.

The CDs are released for and first presented at the annual international [MIDEM] convention in Cannes and subsequently distributed to industry professionals around the world including radio programmers, music journalists, publishers, A&R people, record companies, managers, festivals, venues and at international music industry conventions, seminars etc.

The efforts and succes of mxp would not be possible without the continued support from artists, their managers, record companies and publishers and the financial support of the Musicians' Union [DMF], the Authors' Rights Society [KODA], the Danish Music Council, the national associations for Folk, Jazz and Rock and Pop music and last but not least our CD-manufacturing sponsor Tocano.

All of this and more for your listening pleasure.
